Fearsome Fire Mexican Fire Opal

The fire in this opal is spectacular!  Pink, green & orange flecks of all sizes are all over this gem.  It does have two cracks but seems solid.  I love this gem.  It is 25mm x 17mm x 11mm and is 21 ctw.  A tiny bit of matrix (5% or less) not shown

This gem weighs 19ctw and measures 17mm x 12mm  x 10mm.  This is a very solid and relatively square piece for lapidarist to work with.  Occasional fire can be seen in this rough.  We expect much more to be discovered under the surface.
